These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of nsfw.land and its related pages, accounts, directory, comparison tools, editorial content, reviews, submission forms, advertising services, emails, and other features (together, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated under the nsfwland name ("nsfwland," "we," "us," or "our"). Contact us at [email protected].

By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, submitting content, or purchasing or requesting a service from nsfwland, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.

1. Eligibility and Authority
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If the law where you live requires a higher age, that requirement applies.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts to submit a tool on behalf of a business, request advertising, or purchase a paid service.
  • If you use the Platform for a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these Terms. In that case, "you" includes that organisation.
  • You may not use the Platform if doing so would violate applicable law, sanctions, or binding restrictions imposed on you.
2. What nsfwland Provides

nsfwland is an independent discovery and comparison directory for artificial-intelligence tools, applications, websites, APIs, and related software. The Platform may provide tool profiles, categories, filters, comparisons, pricing labels, feature summaries, integrations, use cases, trust indicators, user reviews, ratings, editorial articles, AI news, newsletters, and clearly labelled promotional placements.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, nsfwland does not own, develop, operate, resell, license, warrant, or provide the third-party tools listed on the Platform. A listing, rating, verification indicator, comparison, editorial mention, or link is not a guarantee, certification, professional recommendation, or endorsement. nsfwland is not a party to transactions between you and a third-party tool provider.

3. Directory Information and Your Decisions

Product names, descriptions, screenshots, logos, features, integrations, availability, pricing, trial terms, security claims, regulatory claims, and other listing details may be supplied by providers, users, public sources, or nsfwland's editorial research. Software products change frequently. Although we may review, edit, verify, or update information, we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, accurate, available, secure, lawful, or suitable for a particular purpose.

You must verify important information directly with the provider before registering, purchasing, uploading data, connecting an account, or relying on a tool. You are responsible for evaluating the provider's terms, privacy and security practices, data-processing arrangements, pricing, cancellation rules, output quality, and fitness for your intended use.

nsfwland content is general informational material. It is not legal, financial, investment, medical, security, compliance, procurement, or other professional advice. Rankings, scores, reviews, comparisons, and AI-related descriptions should not be your sole basis for a high-impact decision.

4. Discovery, Ordering, Comparisons, and Trust Indicators

Directory results and recommendations may be organised using factors such as category match, query or filter relevance, content completeness, recency, editorial assessment, user engagement, review signals, verification status, and technical or commercial availability. Users may influence results through search terms, selected categories, pricing, platform, feature, use-case, integration, verification, and ordering controls offered in the interface.

nsfwland may change taxonomies, ordering methods, eligibility standards, badges, labels, comparison fields, or displayed data to improve usefulness, integrity, security, or legal compliance. A "verified" or similar indicator means only that nsfwland completed the checks described by nsfwland at that time; it does not guarantee a provider's identity, conduct, security, performance, or future compliance.

Sponsored placements are separate from ordinary directory ordering and will be identified as sponsored or advertising where displayed. Payment for promotion does not purchase a positive review, rating, verification result, or undisclosed organic ranking advantage.

5. Accounts and Account Security

You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Do not share credentials, impersonate another person, create accounts through unauthorised automation, or attempt to evade a suspension or restriction.

Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require identity, ownership, or authority verification before restoring access, changing account information, processing a listing claim, or acting on a sensitive request.

6. Tool Submissions, Claims, and Provider Responsibilities

When you submit, claim, edit, or promote a tool, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are authorised to act for the provider or otherwise have the right to submit the information;
  • all claims, pricing, links, disclosures, and product information are truthful, supportable, current, and not misleading;
  • the tool has a functioning, lawful destination and does not distribute malware, facilitate fraud, or engage in deceptive practices;
  • you have all rights and permissions needed for submitted text, names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, images, and other materials;
  • your submission does not violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, publicity, consumer-protection, competition, or other rights; and
  • you will promptly correct materially inaccurate information and disclose material changes that may affect users.

Submission does not guarantee publication, timing, placement, verification, traffic, leads, or continued availability. nsfwland may fact-check, classify, reformat, edit for clarity, request evidence, reject, unpublish, merge, annotate, or remove a listing. We may preserve an editorial record of a product even if a provider asks to remove it, where lawful and in the public interest, but will consider valid legal, intellectual-property, privacy, and accuracy requests.

7. Reviews, Ratings, and Other User Content

"User Content" includes reviews, ratings, comments, listing submissions, corrections, images, messages, and other material you provide. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant nsfwland a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, translate, publish, display, distribute, and use it as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, promote, and improve the Platform. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for reasonable backups, legal retention, content already shared by others, and uses needed to establish or defend legal rights.

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience or honestly held opinion. You must clearly disclose employment, ownership, payment, free access, affiliate, family, agency, or any other material connection with the reviewed provider. You may not submit or procure fake reviews; review your own product without disclosure; impersonate a customer; coordinate ratings; offer incentives conditioned on sentiment; threaten reviewers; or manipulate, suppress, or distort review signals.

User Content must not be unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, confidential, infringing, spam, malicious, or irrelevant. Do not include personal data that you lack the right to publish. nsfwland may moderate User Content before or after publication and may reject, remove, restrict, label, or retain evidence of content under these Terms. We do not promise to publish every review or to independently verify every statement.

Businesses may respond to criticism and report violations, but may not use these Terms to prevent or penalise lawful, honest reviews. Editorial moderation may address fraud, abuse, conflicts of interest, relevance, safety, or rule violations; it will not be sold as a method to remove legitimate negative feedback.

8. Advertising, Sponsorships, and Commercial Inquiries

nsfwland may offer clearly disclosed sponsored placements on the directory, category pages, homepage, editorial or news surfaces, and optional email communications. Advertising inquiries are requests for information only and do not create a campaign, reservation, payment obligation, or acceptance. A campaign begins only when the parties agree to separate written commercial terms, including scope, dates, pricing, payment, creative requirements, cancellation, and any applicable refund terms.

Advertisers are responsible for the legality and substantiation of their claims, landing pages, offers, trademarks, disclosures, and targeting materials. We may refuse, pause, label, modify, or remove advertising that is misleading, unsafe, unlawful, technically harmful, irrelevant, or inconsistent with Platform standards. Sponsored status does not imply nsfwland has tested or endorsed the advertised product.

9. Editorial Content, AI News, and Automated Assistance

nsfwland may publish attributed news summaries, editorial descriptions, classifications, comparisons, or other content prepared with human research, automated tools, artificial intelligence, or a combination of these methods. Such content can contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or simplified interpretations. Source links and attribution are provided where appropriate, but you should consult original sources for consequential decisions.

nsfwland does not promise continuous coverage, neutrality between every product, or inclusion of every relevant source. Editorial choices may consider relevance, credibility, recency, usefulness, diversity of coverage, and available evidence. Commercial relationships must not purchase undisclosed editorial conclusions.

10. Third-Party Websites, Services, and Transactions

The Platform links to third-party websites and services. nsfwland does not control and is not responsible for their availability, content, contracts, billing, renewals, refunds, data handling, security, outputs, customer support, or conduct. When you follow a link or use a third-party product, that provider's terms and privacy policy apply.

Some outbound links may be affiliate or tracked links through which nsfwland may receive compensation. Where applicable, nsfwland will provide an appropriate disclosure. Affiliate compensation does not change your price unless disclosed and does not guarantee a favourable editorial assessment.

Any dispute concerning a third-party purchase or service must generally be addressed with that provider, without limiting rights you may have against nsfwland under mandatory law for nsfwland's own conduct.

11. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • violate law or the rights of nsfwland, users, providers, or any third party;
  • submit false, deceptive, manipulated, plagiarised, or unauthorised content;
  • introduce malware, harmful code, credential theft, phishing, or unsafe destinations;
  • probe, scan, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or interfere with the Platform except as permitted by law or an authorised security programme;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or use automated means to access the Platform in violation of robots instructions, technical controls, applicable law, or our written permission;
  • use Platform content or personal data to train a model, build a competing database, send unsolicited communications, profile individuals, or make automated high-impact decisions without a lawful basis and our written permission;
  • manipulate rankings, traffic, clicks, ratings, reviews, badges, referrals, or analytics;
  • misrepresent an affiliation with nsfwland or use our branding to imply endorsement; or
  • help another person perform any prohibited act.
12. Intellectual Property

The Platform's software, design, selection, arrangement, editorial content, databases, graphics, and nsfwland names and marks are owned by or licensed to nsfwland and are protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, nsfwland grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, and product materials belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies or describes the relevant product and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.

13. Copyright, Trademark, Privacy, and Illegal-Content Notices

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, is materially inaccurate, or is illegal, email [email protected]. Include:

  • your name, contact details, and authority to act;
  • the exact Platform URL and a clear description of the material;
  • the legal or factual basis for the request and supporting evidence;
  • for intellectual-property claims, identification of the protected work or right and the allegedly infringing use; and
  • a good-faith statement that the information supplied is accurate.

We may request more information, restrict content while reviewing a report, notify the affected contributor, permit a response, and communicate our decision where required. Knowingly false or abusive reports may result in account restrictions and liability under applicable law. For urgent threats to safety, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement service first.

14. Privacy and Electronic Communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how nsfwland handles personal data. Do not submit personal data unless you have a lawful basis and the right to do so. Where required, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent. Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].

Transactional messages may be sent when necessary to operate your account, process submissions, moderate content, secure the Platform, or respond to you. Marketing email is sent only where permitted and may be unsubscribed from using the provided mechanism. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent essential service communications.

15. Availability, Changes, and Beta Features

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, listings, taxonomies, interfaces, feeds, integrations, or access to all or part of the Platform. Maintenance, security incidents, provider failures, legal requirements, and events outside our reasonable control may interrupt availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or preservation of every account, draft, listing, review, comparison, or preference.

Features identified as beta, preview, experimental, or automatically generated may be incomplete, change without notice, and carry additional risk. Do not rely on them for production-critical or high-impact decisions.

16. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. You may request account deletion subject to authentication, legal retention, fraud prevention, dispute preservation, and content-handling rules described in the Privacy Policy.

nsfwland may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access; reject or remove content; disable links; or take other proportionate action if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, manipulated the Platform, or harmed users or third parties. Where appropriate and legally required, we will explain the basis and provide a method to contest the decision. Serious, repeated, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct may result in immediate action.

17. Paid nsfwland Services, Cancellation, and Consumer Rights

Any paid nsfwland service is governed by these Terms and the specific order, proposal, or checkout terms presented before purchase. Prices, taxes, billing schedule, deliverables, campaign dates, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules will be disclosed in those specific terms. If they conflict with these Terms, the specific commercial terms control for that service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory guarantees, withdrawal rights, refund rights, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a consumer has a mandatory cancellation or withdrawal right, nsfwland will honour it. If a consumer expressly requests immediate performance during a statutory withdrawal period, any effect on that right applies only after the disclosures and consent required by law.

18. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." NSFWLAND DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM OR ANY LISTED TOOL WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, SECURE, AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS.

These disclaimers do not apply to warranties or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

19. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NSFWLAND AND ITS AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM THE PLATFORM, THIRD-PARTY TOOLS, EXTERNAL LINKS, USER CONTENT, OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH LOSS WAS POSSIBLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NSFWLAND'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID NSFWLAND FOR THE RELEVANT SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) EUR 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of mandatory data-protection obligations, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

20. Indemnity for Business and Misuse

If you use the Platform on behalf of a business, submit or promote a tool, advertise, or misuse the Platform, you will indemnify and hold harmless nsfwland and its affiliates and personnel from third-party claims, damages, penalties, and reasonable costs arising from your User Content, product, advertisement, breach of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights or law. This obligation applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not apply to consumer activity where such an indemnity is prohibited.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

Before filing a formal claim, please contact [email protected] with a description of the issue and requested resolution so the parties can attempt to resolve it informally. This does not suspend a limitation period or prevent urgent legal relief.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of nsfwland is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that consumers retain the protection of mandatory laws and courts available in their country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. We do not require consumers to waive a lawful right to court proceedings or collective redress.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect Platform changes, security needs, legal requirements, or business practices. We will post the revised version and update the date above. If changes materially affect registered users' rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable advance notice where required. Changes will not apply retroactively unless permitted by law. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Platform and close your account.

23. General Terms

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; nsfwland may assign them as part of a merger, reorganisation, financing, or transfer of the Platform, subject to mandatory law. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable specific commercial terms form the agreement between you and nsfwland concerning the Platform.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, licences already granted, moderation records, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions—will survive. Headings are for convenience only. English is the controlling language to the extent permitted by law.
